Seller Note

This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split-window coupe was built on May 8, 1963 and originally delivered to Frontier Chevrolet of Fresno, California. It is powered by a fuel-injected 327ci L84 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in dark blue over matching upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ turbine-style wheels with three-eared knock-off spinners, a Delco AM/FM radio, an antenna, electronic ignition, and concealed headlights. The fiberglass body was finished from the factory in Daytona Blue (916) and was reportedly repainted under previous ownership. Features include flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance. The replacement 15″ turbine-style wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with American Classic radial white-wall tires measuring 205/75/R15. The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
