Seller Note

This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was initially delivered to Willkomm Motors in Platteville, Wisconsin, and was acquired by the owner in September 1965. The car is finished in Nassau Blue over black vinyl and is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a Positraction differential, an Off Road exhaust system, a black soft top, 15″ steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights. This C2 is now offered in Texas by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Protect-O-Plate, sales documentation, an owner’s manual, a car cover, and a clean New Mexico title in the owner’s name.

The fiberglass body is finished in Nassau Blue and equipped with a black soft top, flip-up headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, and a retractable antenna. The left rear fender was repaired and repainted in 1966. The soft window is discolored, there is a scratch on the right side of the car, and exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery below.

Steel 15″ wheels feature faux-knock-off covers and are mounted with 6.70-15 four-ply tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.

The cabin houses bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Appointments include a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer does not work and currently shows 30k miles.

The 327 V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 350 horsepower when new. An Off Road exhaust system was fitted from the factory. A replacement radiator was installed in 1996.

The engine stamping is shown above, and additional photos are included in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an optional Positraction differential.
